Steve DiAntonio is the Director of Strategic Business Development at the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC). He works closely with commercial and government clients to identify problems and operational needs that can be addressed with Robotics Institute expertise and technology. Under his direction, NREC has forged long-term technology development partnerships with leading equipment suppliers in mining, agriculture, defense, and other field robotics markets.

Mr. DiAntonio directs a business development and marketing staff responsible for NREC’s business capture, marketing communications, and strategy formulation. Since joining the NREC in 1999, revenues and staff have increased five fold with similar increase in the number of customers, average project size and duration, and license revenue. He, along with the other NREC Directors, will continue to adapt and position the organization to benefit from a rapidly emerging robotics market.

Mr. DiAntonio has over 20 years experience in senior sales, product management, and strategy positions for technology development organizations, software companies and manufacturing companies. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Lehigh University and an MBA from Harvard University.
