Brett Browning


Systems Scientist



Dr. Brett Browning is a Systems Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute and National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC).  His research interests include autonomy, machine vision, and machine learning. His work has focused on robot soccer and other domains where robots interact with one another and with humans. 

Dr. Browning received a Ph.D. in robotics (2001) and B.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics (1997) from the University of Queensland, Australia. He joined the Robotics Institute in 2000.
