Dr. J. Andrew (Drew) Bagnell
is a Research Scientist at Carnegie Mellon
University’s Robotics Institute. Dr. Bagnell has been
active in machine learning and robotics for 8 years. His research
expertise is in decision mining, reinforcement learning, machine
learning for automated perception, and planning under uncertainty.
Dr. Bagnell’s robotics accomplishments include the first
reinforcement learning autonomous helicopter controller. Dr.
Bagnell has a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
